Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:
- 450g (1 lb) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz (225g) linguine or spaghetti
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.Sauté the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.Add the Shrimp:
